On the 24th of October 2013, some students from WEPS got to go to Warrnambool college. When we arrived we got a tour of the school, when we were in the middle part of the building the kids were changing classes so we had to quickly move out of the way.After that we went to the art room and picked out what we wanted and painted it with water colours.

On Tuesday I went to the pool with Amy for most of the day. Thursday I went to the movies to see Grown Ups 2 with Shona, and then that night we went to the dogs at the greyhound track because there was a kids night on. Then on Friday we went back to the pool for most of the day. Sunday we went to Laura’s house and I had a sleep over it was really fun

On the 10th of  September Matt Porter the author from Merrivale came to our school to do a workshop on his new book. First we did a quiz about him and I got most of them right. Next he picked a person and they had to be Mr jackpot the host. After he got some random photos and got to pick out of three and I picked ninja to write about. Then he picked another person to do a quiz thing and he had to guess if it was happy, sad, worried and more, but he got them all correct. Next we did a different activity and another person had to guess what the order of the most exciting words but he got one wrong.

On the 5th of September the East  3-6 went to Brauer to watch play it again. I thought the play was really good because they had alot of lines they had to remember and they were with two other schools.

For the last past weeks we have been focusing on the arts, because Warrnambool east and 2 other schools are doing a play called play  it again. The play is about future, past and present. the 3/4’s and the 5/6’s will be going to watch the performence. For my project i’m doing makeup and choreography,  i’m nearly finished the makeup part and still got choreography to go.

On Tuesday the 13th of August, 5/6n went to science. We did an explosion, we made it with foil, hot water, jar, some special ice science chemical, and fire. We waited 5-10 minutes well we waited for them Nadine got out the air canon and she put smoky air into it and hit the cup of the persons head. After Zhane lit the fire over the jar and the foil went BOOM.!!!

On the 31st of July 2013 5/6N did a workshop of parliament, and acted out what it would be like if we were really there. There were to sides you were on the pri ministers side or the opposition      (Luke) Pri  minister (Tejai) opistion. Wil was the speaker,Grace was the Clark and Suzi was the gaurd.

How and why do the arts enrich our lives?

On the holidays I went to a calisthenics comp in Mt gambier and I came 4th in PC and didn’t get a place in my graceful.

On the next week I went to the dance eisteddfod to watch my cousin but also to watch other girls from fusion dance academy. On Thursday I went to Amys for a sleepover. Then on Friday we went to the pool for a day.

Then on Saturday I had my solo practice. After I had finished Renee, Lucy and I went to the dance eisteddfod.

At the end of the term some of the year 6s will be doing skipping in front of the whole school. there are alot of people we are using long ropes and short ropes. It should be alot of fun. I enjoy doing skipping and  everyone else in the team does.
